Agreed. It's not that I would EVER argue with the NYBA, but I think he's not seeing what the fans are upset about. I don't care about the trash-talking, or the bad blood, or really even the comments afterword.
I have a problem with him spitting on the other team's corner and I have a problem with him walking over to Rivera immediately after the fight and feigning that he was apologizing only to tell him to "go home, you loser". THAT'S what I have a problem with. If you want to kick a man while he's down, whatever you're a grown man, you can do what you want, but don't pretend you're going to act like a gentleman only to be a complete prick.

Chicken shit illegal knee imo...Both knees down=no excuse...pissed at the guy or not. He kicked his ass AFTER the illegal knee, but big deal at that point. The spitting and shit talking was classless, but he got caught up with emotions. Who cares, really? Its not like Bisping is really a threat to any solid middle weights anyway.

Phil, people are pissed because the knee looked intentional. He also appeared to be loading up for a 2nd illegal knee before the ref stopped him.
Also, and more importantly, he spit on/at Rivera's cornermen. That's fucked up. Spitting on someone is actually assault under US law. In most states, it's a Class C Misdemeanor. IMO, whoever was spit on should press charges.
Bisping is classless and a disgrace to the sport. His actions and language reveal his true character. Whether or not Rivera and his team were making videos/talking shit pre-fight, that does not give you a free pass to fucking spit on someone.
The UFC should fine this fool and whoever was spit on should press charges. No excuse for that kind of behavior. The UFC should handle this kind of thing seriously and start setting examples if they want to maintain a professional appearance in the public eye.

Trash talk is one thing. I have no problem with Bisping talking smack after the fight. The illegal knee was blatant and worthy of a dq in my opinion. I can live with the spitting even though I think it is in poor taste. Mike has never taken the high road, never been the better man in any situation. So it is an accumulation of all his bullshit that makes him a total douchebag.
