Just a technique that I thought was great and wanted to share with you. I already knew/did it instinctively though, but it's cool to see it broken down by the Zen Master.

Enjoyed the technique. Covered the best (mount) to worst (1/2 guard)case scenarios. Instinctively, I normally set in a hook and attempt sweep. However, after seeing this video, I like the lower lumbar pull with rear leg tucked, resulting in top control.
Nice work. Thanks for the video and insights.
I like this sweep, sometimes I have to rock back and forth a couple times, and when I go to turn him, I block that side's knee with my hand as I'm taking him to that side. It works well with someone your own size.

Personally, if I am going to go for a sweep (or taking someone's back), I prefer playing half-butterfly guard.
