Just thought I would try to lighten the mood of the forum and post a video of Professor Jean Jacques Machado. Those of you that are fans of the gi should find it insightful. I hope you enjoy it:
I've heard from so many people that once he grabs you with the lobster claw you're not going anywhere.
Very nice thank you much!
For later
How dare you post a video of a black belt who actually competed throughout his ranks, and had to earn his promotions?!? The blasphemy of black belts making instructional videos teaching solid techniques vs. purple shirts teaching rolling darce-o-platas! 10thPJJ Purple Shirts with white belt affiliation academies FTW!!!
who gave jj his black belt. hb punk said ........
jk
Very cool. Thanks Jayman.

Actually, nice video!
Two things I noticed:
1.) That is some beautiful instruction.
2.) Those are some beautiful gis.
Those are some pretty nice moves, I love how he was hooking the foot so he could open the guy up to get his other hook in.
Also has anyone tried out Machado's online training? Is it worth the money?
Excellent. JJM is a fabulous instructor and inspiration.

Sure it is, just ask Keith Owen, thats the source of 95% of the content on his Favorite Moves Vol. 3 DVD.

Keith was a guest instructor for jj machado onlineWhere do you train? Come down I'd love to train with you. I'll roll light. Whatever you think about the Ari thing is fine but Keith is one hell of a good instructor. You really should come and train once with us JayMan was trying to keep it light and get us back to training.
3:18 of pure gold. I love that vid. Thanks.
that was exceptional stuff right there. the level of details for such a short clip surpasses a lot of the wma stuff that i have seen.

I never said that Keith wasnt a good instructor (even though I do think that wanting to have 50 affiliate academies starting with Sensei Ari Bolden, and him "negotiating" belts is VERY shady, but whatever), I just said that 95% of the material that is on his instructional, came from stuff that Jean Jacques taught on his online training site, and Jean Jacques didnt even get any credit for being the original source of material. And dude trust me, i'm not wasting my time coming all the way to Idaho for any reason (training included). No offense to Keith, but if im going to travel for training there is no way im skipping Saulo's place just to come to see Keith.
We could always plan a trip white water rafting somewhere though, i'll travel for that.
Now we can get back to our regularly scheduled programing....
