Whats a good program to use to make a gif, I cant seem to find one where I can just select part of a video..it always makes me do the whole video

My friend uses this:
Alchemy's Gif Construction Kit Pro version (take a movie clip and turn it into a gif with a simple interface)
Use Studio 9 to cut the movie to what you want then use the GIF program.
I use photoshop to convert a folder of sequential pics into a gif.
I use a free prog called "super" by ErightSoft to turn movie clips into gifs. It also convets files into iPod-ready MP4.
