After watching last night's fight and thinking more about it I can't help but feel like I did after the first Shotgun and Machida fight. I thought Ben won last night but it was a very close fight and Gil really impressed me. He looked really good and looked like he may be able to beat Henderson.
I remember feeling after Machida got the nod in his first fight with Shotgun that Shotgun really showed how close he was to taking that fight over and it really gave people hope that in a rematch Shotgun could pull it off. We all know what happened in that second fight.
Does anyone feel like this could turn out the same way? To me Gil fought well and in my opinion could change up some things and take the strap in a rematch.
*shogun
Damn phone
Someone actually impressed you in that terrible fight last night?
Machida Shogun 1 was a robbery, last night was a pick em
Kick Boxe -I agree with this. The shogun fight, in my eyes, was 4-1 shogun. More clear cut. Last nights fight was closer.

Yeah a little part of me feels Rua got robbed BUT I still believe he just didn't do enough to take the belt away that night. If that wasn't a title fight Rua wins. No Gil would not have won last night even if not title but he gave me the same feeling Shogun did...
He could take a rematch.
And yes to the guy that asked, both impressed me at certain times and I did enjoy the fight :/

First part agreed but I don't feel last night was a pickem. I think Ben clearly won but I don't feel it was a domination.
