watching the first few minutes and the trailer you can tell its a solid looking movie, especially for people who enjoy Bourne movies etc.
I think it looks good and not just cause i'm an mma fan and Gina is in it.
I could never buy into these starlets being tough and beating up men. With Gina I can believe if she hits you it is gonna hurt. She looks like she can fight because she can, period. If you know anything about martial arts these other women look awful, unwatchable.

I agree completely; whenever I see 100lb Jolie throwing around 200lb men. I makes me cringe and takes me out of the film.

Warrior got 82% (very high critic score for RT) and was a complete flop in the box office. Hopefully Gina has better luck.

Absolutely. I don't remember the last action film I saw where they had this waif of a girl kicking this huge guy around...pointless. With Gina, you can buy into it because she can in fact kick a guy's ass.

I don't understand what some of you are saying
are you saying 'Gina is a real fighter, therefore her faking is better than the other more beautiful actress's faking, because I believe her pretend fighting more and it lends realism to the fake thing I am watching'
if that's what you're saying, would you also start watching pro wrestling if Tito Ortiz got into it, and would you then 'buy into' wrestling more because it's a real fighter doing it
in a nutshell, what I'm saying is, I'm pretty sure this movie will still have BSHH sounds for punches and so on, and people taking it in turns to do moves on each other while groaning
nothing to get excited about really, unless it's got a good story, which being that it's a soderbergh film, I would venture to say that it does not, but there will be enough cool music and snazzy camera stylings that you don't notice hopefully
