i think some of these girls were lured in to be models but the real purpose was to leave them with no options(no modeling work and desparate for money in a different country) so they will turn to prostitution for rich japanese men

Pretty sure I saw it on Netflix. If I'm not mistaken, the American model scout was pretty fucked in the head. She had all these creepy photos in her home. Felt bad for the Russian girls, as most of them go back home in a lot of debt.
