What's next?
I assume Edmund will throw a parade in Browne's honor based on his performance.
It really saddens me to see Travis turn into what we saw today.
Makes you wonder what Ronda could've been.
I hope he leaves for his own sake. That camp is a joke

tbh, makes me respect Ronda a lot more. She basically won and did everything she did with piss poor MMA training.
Granted womens division is weak, she was still the best for a long time.

No she did not. She was originally trained by Hayastan MMA in north Hollywood by legends like Gene & Gokor
i hate how all the credit for her wins went to GFC but reality is Gokor made her who she is now.

oh ok. that would make sense then.
So is Edmund just her boxing coach or wut, cuz I never hear her talk about anyone else training her but him.
Such a shit show

There was a trend about 5 years ago for the higher paid fighters to do their own private training camps with coaches and sparring partners brought in exclusively for their training. Perhaps some of the people that know Ronda can discuss this, but I'm pretty sure that's what this is. Edmond was the guy she brought in.
I'm still not sold on private camps. Call me old school. There's an energy that you can only get by being a thread in the fabric of something bigger.
All that yelling... For no damn reason at all.
I don't see the feud with Kings MMA going well for them.

group atmosphere is nearly almost always more beneficial unless your a social retard. privates are good if theres a specific mechanical issue you need to work on but otherwise its just not nearly as helpful as getting to deliver techniques to a variety of partners as well as experience those techniques from many partners.

Makes you wonder what Ronda could've been.
Why?
He has always come across as a bad person and had domestic violence charges.
In reality he has looked good against 1 elite fighter and that is Josh Barnett. So basically travis browne is dangerous when you cant get him down and he's elbowing the back of your head.
Even the Overeem fight he got beat down and then dropped overeem with a kick. Stunning overeem in a fight is as good as winning essentially.
TBH, I think he was overhyped due to the overeem win and having a couple of nice looking knockouts against lesser fighters.
His athleticism is greatly overstated considering Werdum is quicker than him and beating him by a mile to every single shot.
Hard to exist at the top with questionable cardio, defense and chin.
Some of his early wins flattered him.

ya i mean really, the elbow KOs with gonzaga and barnett show his takedown defense but mostly his opponents lack of awareness to the strikes then anything. and struve was beating him in the standup before that giant superman punched that crumpled him
otherwise he is the lord of the snafu fight, hurting his leg with bigfoot, eye poke mitrione to death, now the broken finger..
