Going to _______ what to do!!!

Seriously, do 45 seconds of searching around on the site or on the internet using the new fangled google machine and you will have the info you need.  Quit being so lazy.

 WFA!!

lol

1. Google is pretty much useless for anything except buying things. Information is a lost cause on the internet, particularly the kind of information where personal excperiences are superior to browsing advertisements. This is just a retarded complaint to have.

2. How does someone called "guy1" call anyone else lazy?

Lord Kancho - lol

Google is amazingly useful for information, you just have to be smarter the table your computer is sitting on.

A tiny bit of common sense goes a long way in this world.

Google is amazingly useful for information,

Not even close. Especially not since people realized how to exploit Google's page ranking system in the search results. Since a huge component of where a page turns up in the search results is how many pages link to your page (and since most pages on the internet are commercial advertisements), people have proliferated the internet with articles that appear to be helpful, but, inevitably, link back to their own product.

Askjeeves was pretty reliable for information.

Again, a little common sense goes a long way in this world. Google is a tool, you just have to know how to use it. A shovel is a great tool, but it won't dig a ditch for you by itself, it requires some work and some basic intelligence.

If you can tell me how to remove commercial products and webpages from google searches I would be ever so grateful, wise one.

Damn, is this asinine thread still up?

Ask a local next time you are somewhere, what is good, hell, do it in your hometown, ask a buddy for a recommendation of a new restaurant you might not have known existed, same principle.

There was a world before the internet buddy and what you are suggesting is akin to hitting the rest stop brochres library or newspaper for tips on what's cool, etc.

Enjoy your next generic trip wherever it is you go.

The type of thread you are bashing is perhaps the most worthwhile use of the OG, invaluable insight from people all arond the world with similar interests as yourself. Forums are the best online source of info online for this kind of thing.
