Going to see Chikara tonight!!!

Finally, Chikara is making it's first swing through the midwest and the first stop is just outside Chicago. Can't wait, I've been dying to get to a Chikara show forever, but Philly is too damn far. Glad they could bring the action a little closer. Many of the big guns won't be there as ROH is running tonight in Philly, but it should still be an outstanding show

Here's the card for the show.  El Oriental is out of the main event, no replacement named yet.  Even without guys like Claudio Castagnoli, Larry Sweeney, Delirious, Jigsaw, etc, It should be fun.  Quack alone is worth the ticket price

It was a really cool show. The matches ended up getting switched around alot because Chuck Taylor and Billy Roc couldn't make the show either, but they did a great job of booking on the fly. The main event was a 10 man tag chock full of Chikara's trademark wackiness. Hopefully they make Chicago a regular stop. If they do, I'll never miss a show

During intermission many of the wrestlers were walking around, talking to fans, taking pictures, and giving autographs. Made for a very cool atmosphere. They all seemed like genuinely nice guys, Lince Dorado and Helios especially
