Going to see The Interview on XMas

On of the few theaters showing it is near my families house where I'm spending Xmas. And I rarely get idealistic about these things but this shit is important, nobody has a right to impose their lack of freedoms upon us.

Will document the experience Phone Post 3.0

your death will have meaning. I shall pray for your soul.

Enjoy your martyrdom, good sir. Phone Post 3.0

I'll probably go Friday.

Mountain Biker - Does this whole thing seem obviously fake to anyone else? A shitty movie was "pulled" for controversy and just so happened to be released on Christmas day after receiving a whole bunch of hype.

Don't fall for it guys Phone Post 3.0
Don't think they would have gone to the extent they did for a hoax. Lines were crossed that wouldn't have been for a publicity stunt. Phone Post 3.0

Heard a rumor today that it might be streaming on youtube tomorrow (Christmas Day).

Just a heads up if true. Phone Post 3.0

I would put it past them. If there is money to be made it will happen, imo Phone Post 3.0

Agreed. There's going to be a lot of people watching this movie without a doubt now.

A publicity stunt = executives going to jail, crippling government fines, and the serious likelihood of the movie studio closing or being sold. You'd have to be a nut to think this was a publicity stunt.

It's being released on youtube today Phone Post 3.0

I have a feeling when it's done your gonna say what was the big fucking deal. Phone Post 3.0

Went last night. Theater was PACKED. Everyone was in very good spirits, and as Seth Rogan said in a real interview, comedies really are better enjoyed in a theater full of people rather than at home.

The movie was actually funnier than I thought it would be. Besides Rogan and Franco the other comic actors were great. The script was obviously silly but it had a lot of jokes and I laughed a fair amount. This is contrast to something like Neighbors, which barely seemed to have any funny jokes, leaving just a shit sandwich plot. I would recommend seeing this in a theater. Having 6-8 drinks over Christmas also helped Phone Post 3.0
