Work is sending me to Toronto in June for 2 nights, i've never been, thinking about going up 2 nights early to sightsee and maybe train some BJJ.
what should I do/see if I go early?
where should I train? BJJ gym advice?
I will be staying downtown close to the Rogers center.

review?
1armedScissor - review?Toronto is a really fun city. Essentially it's like a NYC but clean and safe. The subway is easy to get around on and a little less than $3 a token, so like a days worth of sightseeing can be had for $6. I hadn't been to Canada since I was about 18 or 19 in Montreal, but everyone was friendly, and it was super diverse. Lots of great food and things to go. I checked out the waterfront (they have a few sandy beaches with umbrellas, who knew), st Lawrence market, the Royal Ontario museum, went up CN tower, ate a bunch of great food, hit up a few spots for beers and even got a little bit of work in too...
I went and checked out both Toronto BJJ and Openmat MMA as well. Both are good schools and there is a lot of skill and talent at each. Since I'm just focusing on BJJ now I preferred Toronto BJJ but like I said both are excellent. I put up a bunch of pictures on Instagram from the trip under my name cwhitey321 if anyone wants to check them out, it's a beautiful city. My only regret is that I didn't take a day to travel down to Niagra Falls...
