Gomi is almost as good a wrestler as Sherk, and naturally quite bigger. His TD defense is fantastic. He will KO sherk standing.

I can't be too sure that Sherk would beat Gomi. Gomi has had trouble with ground fighters. I believe Sherk would give Gomi seroius problems as I don't think Gomi could stop the takedowns.

I agree, gomi can sprawl and brawl for the win. Gomi's wrestling is good and all he'll need to work on is predicting the shoot. only thing delaying the win is no knees allowed to head after stuffing the shoot. If he keeps pressing forward and pressurising like he did to kawajiri i think he can take it
