i read into this by chance and was very impressed with his knowledge.
LOLHEW at Charlie Francis attacking Dick Pound's integrity. Pound was brought in to clean up the IOC, trying to lump him in with the previous administration is a low form of character assassination. WADA was formed in 1999, not in the 1980s as the article would have you believe.
Francis was Ben Johnson's drug deal... I mean track coach.
My favorite part of the article is where Francis admits Ben Johnson was taking steroids, but not in the 28 days before the 1988 Olympics. He then blames the WADA (which hadn't been created yet) for tampering with Johnson's drug test so American Carl Lewis (who also was doping) could win the gold medal.
