Good Video Game Soudtracks

OK.
We all know that the GTA games do well in this front, but can you name other games which had good soundtracks.

Even a top 10 if you will.

Games that spring to mind:

Crazy Taxi (offspring etc)
Jet Set Radio (Jurrasic 5)

...

Metal Gear Solid 2

Project Gotham Racing 2

Of course: Wipeout

Katamari Damacy

SSX 2 (Mix Master Mike)

The music for Jet Grind Radio on DC was unbelievably good. "Super Brother!"

What I like about the Xbox is that you make your own soundtracks.

Mario64 and Mario Sunshine. Catchy little numbers all the way through.

Guilty Gear XX is cool if you like metal

Tony Hawks always has some good tunes.

And Kingpin, if anyone remembers that. I think Cypress Hill did the soundtrack for that.

Good call Mick.

(yes I am bored)

Yeah I guessed you were bored Opash.

You play Def Jam: Fight for NY yet? That a has a decent soundtrack, Ice T etc

I really liked Actraiser's soundtrack, actually.

No I ain't played 'Fight for NY' yet - its a game I really wanna play along with 'GTA:SA'.

Alas they are yet to come out over here yet - I have GTA:VC though which was released a few months back - quality bit of Mr Mr on that soundtrack lol.

You can get the Original Def Jam Vendetta (although a couple of the American rappers have been replaced by rappers from Def Jam Japan) - but I think I will just hang-on and wait for the new one.

Halo and Halo2. Awesome original big production-quality music.

Also, Pitfall from Atari 2600.

Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest

Final Fantasy I

Fable

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2

Legacy of Kain: Defiance

Plus I have to agree with Fable, the Tony Hawk series, Katamari Damacy, and Actraiser (for its time). Back in the 16-bit days, Illusion of Gaia, Chrono Trigger, Final Fanatasy II (IV), and Final Fantasy III (VI) had good music too.

FIFA 04 has a kickass soundtrack
