Glass, whiskey, drink

Manhattan is a classic

Most of what I'm reading online seems a bit
Over top the top. I'm tired of whiskey coke, and I'm getting tired of whiskey scotch straight, something like whiskey and 2 juices that would be good etc Phone Post 3.0

Sunday in the Park

1.5 oz Lillet Blanc

1 oz Lemon Juice

.25 oz Simple Syrup

1 dash Angostura Bitters

Sprig of Thyme

1-2 oz Soda Water

NY Sour

2 oz Rye or bourbon

.75 oz Simple syrup

1 oz Fresh lemon juice

1 Egg white (optional)

.5 oz Red wine

Place all ingredients in a shaker except wine, add ice and shake.  Strain into a glass.  Pour wine gently over the back of a spoon into glass so that it floats on top.

Brown Derby

1.5 oz Bourbon

1 oz Fresh grapefruit juice

.5 oz Honey syrup

Shake on ice, strain into cocktail glass.

If its hot and I dont want whisky neat or if im at someones place and there are only shitty blends available, ill have Scotch and Soda with a lime twist (JW Double Black is my fave for this but anything is fine).

Once when it was REALLY hot i remembered a recipe I saw in Whisky Magazine and I drank JW Black mixed with Coconut water all day.  Was fuckin great.

Bourbon with black walnut bitters. Very nice indeed Phone Post 3.0

Whiskey puffers?

If it's not straight then it's whiskey sour or old fashioned. Phone Post 3.0

Manhattan followed by an Old Fashioned. Then if it's real hot out you got Mint Julep and Kentucky Mule.

Old fashioned Phone Post 3.0
