I use to think it should be 1warning then a point deduction. Or just immediate point deduction.

But if we'rd gonna be objective we must realize that cage assisted takedowns, cage assisted sub defense, cage assisted holding, is no better than cage assisted takedown defense Phone Post 3.0

It's a balance between visibility outside the cage and surface to grab, if the links were too small for fingers it would be quite different looking in on the cage Phone Post 3.0

Forrest/Shogun 1

The Forrest/Shogun fence grab was the most insane, blatant case of "cheat to win" I ever saw, and Forrest completely got away with it. Shogun was attempting a TD, Forrest grabbed and held the fence to defend, landed on top of Shogun, got the RNC and won the fight. At that point in the 3rd, it would have been a safe bet to assume that had Shogun completed the TD he would have won the round and the fight.

I'm in the "grab the fence, lose a point" club. Take a point EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's on the referees to address this.
