I saw the basement of Grand Row today. Do not ask how or why. Only know that I am now scared beyond the capacity for reasonable thought.

Dear Great googily moogily, the story of the store basement gets worse.
In today's paper there is an article on "Jack The Ripper" and his possible connection to London Ontario. It seems at one point the man suspected of being the ripper actually had an office in London Ontario.
He was training at McGill university but left after his Wife's mysterious death seeking a fresh start in London and set up shop on Dundas street.
However on May 3rd, 1879 a body of a hotel chambermaid was found in the basement near what is now the old capitol theatre. The woman was pregnant and the good Dr was known as an abortionist. Plus the woman died from the effects of chloroform.
In the picture of the modern day site, showing the probable location of the spot in the basement where the body was found, smack dab in the middle of the picture, is the Showdown store/Grand Row Gym!

Who wants to bet on Paul getting murdered in the shower by a stripper a la "Psycho" style at Grand Row?
I don't like the odds on that bet because it is bound to happen sooner or later. Most likely sooner.
Well, I guess it would be better for me to get murdered in the shower than from what Esfiha did to me in the ring during the first 4-man grappling tourney....
I thought being bitten was bad enough (is Esfiha Portuguese for Tyson?) but when he launched his 285+ pound body from the third rope, my life flashed before my eyes....

Sorry I missed class tonight guys. I was ambushed with a family function. I tried to see if anyone would want to roll and the winner got to make the decision if I would get to go to GR or not but alas, my Wife pulled rank and made me stay.
