COOL!

I love reading old books like those, even though somettiems they're kinda goofy. Always someething to learn here and there. The belt buckle is AWESOME!

Thanks chip! Phone Post 3.0

no problem.  My kid collects some stuf, mostly vintage wrestling shoes, but he's got a few cards he picked up from the wrestling museum in Iowa last season.  Ill take pictures and post.

And ive got a copy of Thesz's book Hooker thats out of print.

Very awesome. Thanks for sharing Phone Post 3.0

My kids stuff.  The only card he had was Glenn Brand, gold medalist.  Not sure if related to Tom and Terry

Singlet signed by a bunch of college wrestlers, Kyle Dake on there somewhere.  Also world Champion Sammy Henson.  My kid wrestles Sammy's kid at Nationals a couple times.  Their 1 and 1 right now, always a close match.

Signed Headgear from the heavy weight finalists at the 2013 southern scuffle.  Dom Bradley and Tony Nelson.  Nelson lost that day but went on to win the national championship a few months later

Iranian wrestling shoes from the 80's

Modern Iranian shoes.  Just like our cheapest asics model but they call them tazen's or something like that

Olympian Ken Chertow signed shirt.  he got that for showing a report card w all A's at a chertow camp when he was about 8 or 9.

Poster signed by Dan Gable.  He did a presentation at the wrestling museum in Iowa when we were out there for a tournament.   The poster below gable is from U Tenn at Chattanooga.  Their close to us, he gets to roll around with some of those guys from time to time.

and the man himself.  Happy looking group

This is not memorabilia really but its probably my favorite thing.  My kids coach wrestled for Terry Brands and he took a few of his wrestlers to a Brands camp, mine was maybe 9 or 10 at the time.  When he got home i noticed he had hung this up on his door.  I asked him what it meant and he said Brands had said to always win the hand fight, that champions won in the setups and to fight hard for position.  Its been hanging there for four years now, i think its pretty cool.
