Couldn't agree more. Prior to this fight i held Guida in high regard and maynard came off as a t**l. Now guida has lost some luster and Maynard has made me a fan. I guess as the stakes become higher the game plans become boring. LONG LIVE WAND and his all or nothing attitude.
I always new Maynard was a tough bastard and showed up to fight, but he proved that he was there to fight not win.
I never bought into Guida's schtick with the hair and fake-crazy antics, but at least he generally engaged.
Tonight he ran like a bitch instead of going down in flames.
I have far more respect for a fighter who fights and loses than one who runs and wins.
