The fate of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has brightened considerably, his trainer told MMAWeekly.com Monday night. Greg Nelson, Lesnar’s head coach and owner of Minnesota Mixed Martial Arts, said Lesnar has a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract, but his condition is improving. “He should be home soon,” Nelson wrote via text message.

Lesnar, 32, was hospitalized in North Dakota last week after collapsing at his property in Canada, and was reportedly diagnosed with mononucleosis and an intestinal disorder. At the UFC 105 post-fight press conference last Saturday, UFC president Dana White said Lesnar was “very, very sick” and would “be out for a while.” He planned to fly to Lesnar’s side and offered to send the fighter to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. On Monday, White was quoted on celebrity gossip website TMZ.com as saying Lesnar might never fight again.

awesome. i hope he gets better soon.

Good.

Oh and fuck TMZ...

Good deal.

Greg Nelson taught my jj class last night, and I was wearing Brock's pants. I took that as a postive omen, and this post by UG News is confirmation.

Brock's gi pants with a Buffer 360 t-shirt would make you invincible.

I wonder if they'd sell me those pants.

 ^^^how is that?

Zapruder - That article was fucking hilarious

I missed it

 ttt

where does he own property in Canada?

I find it both funny and sad that all the troll threads regarding lesnar have received much more attention than this one. You know the one that actually has accurate information from the man who trains with him.

Don't forget Fedor's sweater.  You might look goofy wearing all that but you could tap out God himself.

And thanks for the update

I'm not sure the sweater would allow itself to be worn by anyone other than Fedor. 2jups might very well get armbarred trying to get past the first sleeve.

duckrabbit - where does he own property in Canada?
I've heard that he has property an hour outside of Brandon MB. I believe Brandon was the first hospital he was sent to.
