Greg Nelsons Clinch DVD´s

Has anyone seen them and if so, are they worth shelling out for? Thank you.

The two video tape set covers some basics of two hand neck tie (aka plum), some pad work and drills. Mostly from a Muay Thai perspective, ie mostly for knees.

Teh Singer brothers (hard core gym, they post on the JKD forum) have/had a single video on "clinch for the street" which was more grappling oriented. That one has lots of material. They are supposed to have a new set, I have not seen that one so can't really comment

Of course, there is also the San Da DVD's at www.SanDaTrainingSystems.com

If it's the same material that is on the two-tape set, then yes, I have
them.

The material is pretty good. It's mostly basic Muay Thai clinch
work...heavy emphasis on the neck tie, knees, and so on. He does
show some nice sweeps and throws, including an interesting variation
of a silat throw who's name I cannot remember (Puter kepala, maybe?).

Is it worth shelling out for? If you want some good solid clinch
instruction, sure. If you have regular access to a good Muay Thai
school, maybe not. It really depends on what you're looking for.

Personally, I have found them to be useful.

Spoke with Mr. Nelson this weekend, he said vol.3 and 4 will be coming out soon.

I really enjoyed vol. 1 and 2. it is worth the $$$.

Thank´s for the input guys. If I understand correctly they´re pretty basic? I was mostly looking for some fresh ideas and tips to improve my clinch game.
Might wait for volume 3 and 4 if they cover more "advanced" stuff. Thank´s again.
