Anybody out there know of any good ones you can do either with a partner or on a heavy bag?
heavy bag on the floor or medicine ball works well.
Start from side mounted, pop up to knee ride, throw some shots, spin to other side, throw some more shots, take full mount throw more shots, repeat.
Basically, work at switching positions smoothly and throwing elbows and punches.
A good way to work this is to alternate normal bag work for 2 mins then 1 min gnp, back to bag work.
You can substitute in takedown drills, grip fighting, grappling drills whatever for the bag work.
Teaches you to switch up from one range to another instead of getting someone down then spending the next minute catching your breath only for the round to end or them to escape.
