I've always thought that all the talk about him fighting Andy didn't make much sense for GSP, but now with these huge dudes like Luke and Jacare the discrepancy is even more noticeable. He's only 5'10 and most of the top dudes at MW seem like they could fight at 205 easily! Even if he can get past Bisping I dont see him defending that title more than once.

And Bisping is a big fighter that had a good record at LHW and has fought at HW.
I still think if the GSP from a few years ago turns up he can beat him though. Its all about if he still has that power double. He didnt have it his last few fights, but he did say he was worn out and not right for those fights.
Even without it he can still win a decision standing but its that power double that really made him special and allowed him to dominate.
It's stupid that he's fighting at MW.

I agree, Mike is a much bigger guy, and his game has evolved real nice
I still think GSP wins, but wouldnt be shocked at all if Bisping did

If he beats Bisping I would expect he fights for a 170 title. If he takes that belt he'll fight Conor and retire. If he's at his heaviest now it makes more sense to start at MW and work his way down.
I cant imagine he intends to stay at MW with that line of giants.
GSP's eyes are on the LW division, he only sees this MW title fight as an opportunity to be the only fighter to hold a belt in 3 divisions, could even be consecutively, imagine he gets the MW and WW belts then fights Conor for the LW, two guys who hold 2 belts fighting who are already the biggest stars, that scenario would likely never happen again.
