good to see Jon Olav Einemo back.hopefully he'll get into mma again.

Awesome! This guy is a true competitor!

I have trouble believing GSP will compete in Abu Dhabi.

Hopefully his groin will heal by then. He's done it before so why not?

This is the first list I've seen. Hope it is correct. Hope to see Cobrinha added to it.

fabes - I have trouble believing GSP will compete in Abu Dhabi.

He competed in 2005. As long as the injury isn't too bad, I don't see it as a stretch for him to compete in 2009.

Yeah, I was talking about the injury Chris. I think he would actually do fairly well in Abu Dhabi this time around. Training Devin at Renzo's has really improved his game.

Why would GSP be allowed to compete in ADCC if Fedor wasn't allowed to compete in Sambo?

laqueus - Why would GSP be allowed to compete in ADCC if Fedor wasn't allowed to compete in Sambo?

Because there are no striking (and no throws?) in ADCC, thus much less risk of injury

.

i doubt the ufc would allow him to compete in an event like this, especially when they were against it for fedor to compete in sambo

There's always UFC guys competing in Abu Dhabi.

Herring In A Fur Coat -  I don't think UFC ever had a problem with fighters or even champions competing in ADCC?  Hell, weren't Matt Hughes & Tito Ortiz both UFC champions at the time of their ADCC match?

i think that was pre-zuffa.it would be cool to see BJ Penn compete.

Dana will let him compete???

I thought the UFC cockblocks grappling comps.

the Fertittas and the Sheik are friends or at least know each other what I've heard.

 Cool if true.

Also cool we could see the UG's own Hillary vs Kyra!

Ensanity - Dana will let him compete???

I thought the UFC cockblocks grappling comps.

they did let Joe Stevenson grapple at the UFC 100 expo. Sambo has striking, therefore its not just a grappling match.

CJJScout - This is the first list I've seen. Hope it is correct. Hope to see Cobrinha added to it.

yes! cobrinha v leo would be epic!

How did GSP do it '05??

He got owned.
