Ok, i broke down and got a DVD burner so i could get this game. Installed it and the game. Played a couple nights but my video settings had to be turned down way low. And my sound would cut in and out. But it still played fine besides the sound. So I go buy a new video card yesterday. An ATI 9600 XT. I just installed it and now when I click on the GTA icon I get the little disc spinning thing on my pointer like its starting up. Then it goes away and nothing happens. Did that a few times. I uninstalled the game, reinstalled it and same thing. Whats going on?
Ok, got it. there is a file in the games folder that keeps track of what devices you have when you start the game. After I changed the video card, I needed to delete this file. Then it started up no problem.
