Guess the price for UFC's digital network

Access to the entire Zuffa library would be awesome Phone Post 3.0

Are we talking HD? I know a lot of the pride was fullscreen, but I heard roomies of recording in HD since 2005.

HD you have my money no matter the price. Phone Post 3.0

I'd pay whatever I'm asked to pay. Phone Post 3.0

HD means a lot to me as well. Despite having most of this stuff already, getting it in JS would intrigue me. Phone Post

More than I would be willing to pay most likely. Phone Post 3.0

That's some pretty funny logic, lol. Make something more expensive (when it's NOT your primary business) because you have a limited audience and LIMITED content.

So......MORE money than Netflix for LESS content with an INCREDIBLY SMALL potential market.

The attrition curve for that would look like this (numbers are months):

1- 100%
2- 60%
3- 30%
4- 15%
5- 8%
etc.

The avg registration retention curve is a 12% drop-off per month. This service of theirs is going to do one thing and one thing only: piss off whatever dumbass fan actually purchases it and sour them on the UFC brand. It is not going to make money for them and will probably run in the red against the streaming costs (my guess is they use AWS and that will chew up any profits). And because the content is limited in SCOPE (and to a degree, in general) people are going to feel ripped off for buying a service that is so lacking for MORE than what they would get with Netflix.

As usual, Zuffa has NO fucking clue how to run a business outside of PPVs that were a disaster until they got lucky with TUF (and are now falling apart because of their stale, shitty product).

MMALOGIC, fuck a SN bet. $100 says the entire Zuffa linear will not be on the subscription network. Phone Post 3.0

So the fox cards wont be live on there? Phone Post 3.0

Library not linear Phone Post 3.0

If true, I'm so fucking in!!! Phone Post 3.0

If they price it higher than Netflix, it's a ripoff. Phone Post 3.0

and imagine also eventually getting the live fs1,fs2, fox and maybe even most if not all the ppv cards on this bitch....

I don't give a shit about those because they can be streamed or caught a few days later. The library has me incredibly intrigued. If its truly the WHOLE library (every fucking prelim, every card, etc then ill buy). About time they put those fights to use.

Of course it's not the entire library.

We need to remember this MMALogic guy gets as much wrong as he gets right. He's not in with the UFC, he's just a TV industry nerd who talks shit on here to feel important.

it's not the entire library? let's make a screen name bet. 1 year.

You sure you want to do that? Entire means entire

Yes, you faggot. The entire library... now where did you run off to?

obviously there will be a grace periond for the events that air on fs1, fs2, fox and especially ppv before they're featured on the online platform but beyond that yes the entire zuffa library (ufc, pride, wec, strikforce, wfa).

Now are you going to be a man and stand behind what you said like I am or are you going to be a little bitch and run away?

1 year sn bet... dont run away faggot.

lol ok I have to say I liked your first response better skittyboy. And no I won't take a one year SN bet with you. You clearly know a shit load more about all of this than I do. I WOULD however accept a three month SN bet. The entire Pride, Strikeforce and UFC library - bar only the very recent events

Done. 3 months it is.

10-15 is what I'd be willing to pay, if they start getting in teh 20, 30 range that woudl be stupid.

10 would be best, I can see hardcore fans be willing to pay 10 bucks, you basically get a live card a month, shoulder programming and then the library, thats worth it.

Hopefully its in that range and not more than 15.

LOGIC. why aint the UFC purchis the rigths fr the SEG events from wahatever bottomfeder shit companys boughtm them frm SEG?

ABE FROMAN CRE-AMED ME - 29.99 a month
More likely. Phone Post

Dana, make it happen! I work for the cable company and will get it free. What's the launch date? Haven't seen anything in email about it.

Let me bang bro - LOGIC. why aint the UFC purchis the rigths fr the SEG events from wahatever bottomfeder shit companys boughtm them frm SEG?

hahaha this guy's awesome

My guess is 19.99. I think this is actually a great move for the UFC. Depending on the content and how quickly something goes from PPV to Digital, I would definitely consider. Would be great for the events I miss.
