let me guess...its a rationalized defense of his boring ass game plan?
Said his grappling and takedowns won the fight, promised more striking and power and better grappling in the future.
I went outside to shovel my driveway during that fight, so I am indifferent. There wasn't even any snow on the ground.
blah blah....he should have lost.
big_roy_fan - there was no controversy he won fair and square haters

he probably gave Hioki the best hug he has ever had. A fifteen minute man hug. For that,...Guida can be proud as I assume they must be bro's for life now

He took someone down and did nothing at all. No damage, no submission attempts, NOTHING.....
This. Mounted zero offense. Was given an early Xmas present.

Haha
Hioki landed almost double the amount of strikes as Guida in every single round, while Guida had exactly 1 takedown per round with 1 pass and zero sub attempts. Awful decision.
I'm just going to leave this right here.

Hioki landed hard shots, Guida didn't, by the implicit laws of whooping someone's ass, Hioki is clearly the winner
Hoping his next fight where he shows his improved striking and power is on facebook
If you can be neutralized by one aspect of the game, then you lose.
LOL at someone voting me down for posting the fightmetric stats. Sorry fellas.

Not a hater. I remember Guida getting the TD, then getting punched a lot and defending subs for two rounds. I gave him the third, because he actually did shut down Hioki and control that round. I had it 29-28 Hioki, but wasn't really surprised at the score. Guida got that decision based solely on top position, despite being in defense mode and mounting almost no offense for two rounds. It was a bad call, in my opinion, and worthy of discussion.
