I'm tired of reading about and talking about Rampage's unfortunate incident. On a lighter note, I was thinking of people that could get into the WEC and make an immediate impact there. Here's what I got...
at 205:
-Tim Boetsch: Big, strong guy. Would make a good fight for Doug Marshall, or even Brian Stann.
-James Irvin: Unless he pulls a miracle off, Silva will probably decimate him. But, he has defeated Marshall before... would be an exciting addition, rather than the UFC 205 gatekeeper.

-Joe Riggs: I think he was with them at first... but now is fighting at RITC. Would like to see Joe make a comeback to the WEC and mix it up again. Would be a good fight w/ Chael Sonnen.
-Denis Kang: A legit threat to Paulo, and a solid fighter that stumbled in the GP recently. Would LOVE to see Kang on US soil.

-Chris Lytle: I actually just posted how I was happy Zuffa gave him a contract extension... but reading some posts, I think it makes sense for Chris to go into the WEC and see what he can do there. Him vs. Condit is a great fight.
-Forrest Petz: Just beat Gassaway, and is a solid fighter. Had a tough run in the UFC, but has always been an exciting fighter.
at 155:
-Jorge Gurgel: Honestly, I just put him on here b/c you know Zuffa won't cut him, but he does NOT belong in the UFC anymore. Its not bashing. Its just a fact.
-Stephane Dube: Solid fighter out of TKO... has lost to some solid guys, but good wins, too.
-at 145:
-Hatsu Hioki: Former Pride Bushido fighter... Some good wins in Shooto... Could pose problems for Faber or Brown.
-Ivan Menjivar: Hasn't fought in awhile, but was solid when he did fight. Has been in the big show before, so he would handle the WEC jitters well.
What say you?
