Great article!
Thank you for posting the addy :)

Cool article.

A little part of me, following the links, tends to wonder at the idea that "hey, all gymnasts have to do is train intensely for years in a self-selected group in order to achieve fairly impressive goals" e.g. 2xbw bench). You know, guys, I suspect that if you had had the same bunch of guys for powerlifting or O-lifting training they'd be just a strong after all that time.

But the exercises that the guy promulgates are so damn cool that I can't really complain. Oh, boy, gotta go and try some of those planche pushups.

love that article, I'm convinced that kind of training would be better than weights for mma. Course none of us know how to do it.

Xen - you do a bit of gymnastic style conditioning don't you? How do you incorporate it into your routine?

Exactly what department can you find rings in Home Depot?

I went there a year ago and found nothing and when I asked the employees they looked at me like I was mad and speaking martian.

Are the kids size rings big enough? They look small to me.

Funny story....

I was in home depot buying chain for my weight belt. I got the guy to run the chain cutter machine and I start "measuring" the chain by placing it at my navel and then running the length to the floor trying to size a loop at about knee level to attach the weights to.

He mumbled something hesitantly like "uh....what will you be using the chain for?" and I distractedly said "to hang weights from" and the look on his face said it all. I then explained it was for weight lifting! i.e. weighted chins...he laughed and said "you don't even want to know where I was going with this".

LOL!!!

LMAO...TTT for that article
