GYOTAKU in pearl city: review

worst jfood and chicken katsu EVER.

i will not be dining there again. holy shit

damn I would have told you that worst food for the price IMO

I wasnt too happy with Spicy Ahi up the road either.

aside from pc sushi bar, i'm pretty sure everything west of honolulu = suck.

Mr Anaconda seems to like that place I have never tried it what did you order MT

I like Spicy Ahi. Except for the price.

^^yeah was mediocre for the price. The ramen shop across it wasnt bad..1 notch above Genki ramen imo *hides from FCTV in fear of getting ramen lesson. lol

I think Kunios @ waikele is pretty good.

Just kidding. . . I love the Spicy Ahi/Salmon Sashimi combo at Spicy Ahi

I'm going to Japan next month so I can try the real stuff in the land of the rising sun

i hope your nonpureblood can determine whats good there.

I like good tonkatsu. Just ate at Shokudo. No tonkatsu, but the garlic shrimp with rice was awesome along with combo tempura/chicken. Anyone know where they have good tonkatsu?

sorry, but shokudo is shit. :(

minato has good tonkatsu, but roaches. and many of them.

Thanks for the warning on Gyotaku. I've been meaning to give it a try for a while now, but it looks like I'll be steering clear.

I will ring in for Kunio's in Waikele too though. Been there a couple of times now and have always had good food.

saved me a trip ive been meaning to scope that place out for a while

Hana sushi kapolei shopping center. next to hoho chynee foo
best on the west! $$$$$

Kunios is terrible imo. Gyotaku in Niu Valley is tolerable.

Meh, the Alley in Aiea has some awesome garlic chicken and furikake ahi...although the pricing could be a little bit better.
