I'm not telling myself anything.  The research and experiments support what I'm saying.  If you don't like a particular wine, that's fine, but the price has nothing to do with it.

Don't kid yourself.

The only reason anyone is buying $3 chuck is the novelty of the price.

Umm...no.   People buy it because it's not a bad wine AND because it's cheap.  If it tasted like squirrel piss they could give it away for free and people wouldn't take it.  But a half decent wine for $3 is a good deal so naturally, people will buy it.

Again, experiments have shown that wine snobs are full of shit.  The same type of experiments have been done with bottled water and expensive foods.  It's all psychological snobbery.

Snobbery goes both ways, for those who deride cheap wines and rink expensive ones, and those who deride expensive ones and only drink cheap ones.

You are a wine snob as well.

$3 chuck is garbage.

I don't deride expensive ones.  I'll drink whatever's there as long as it's good.  Price is not a factor, hence, no snobbery.
