Why has there been no big budget Hollywood film about these 2 awesome warriors?!
I guess because of the degree of difficulty it would be to make it. For genghis khan they would need a very large all asian cast and that would make it hard to market it. There is a movie out called 'mongol' about genghis that isnt hollywood but still a good movie.

imo they wouldnt need an all asian cast. the mongol empire was massive most of which was central asian. central asia has an immensley diverse ethnic group. if you look at ppl from kazikstan and russia they can look european, asian, middle eastern, indian etc...
some descriptions of genghis include reddish hair and light colored eyes.

Thats true I didnt think about his empire but at the begining it was mainly mongols. Imo if a genghis movie was filmed in English it would lose its credibility and I doubt hollywood would want a subtitled major movie

Only one survived... And they were never used against Rome until after Cannae if I remember correctly.
Sounds like a job for Mel Gibson. He's the only filmmaker I would trust for a project like that.
