Heavyweight-Hardest hitting division. Like any division/fight, ANYONE can get slept with the right punch. That being said, the ONLY fighter I can think of in this division who could possibly fight the toughest top fighters and perhaps lose, but not be finished, is Ben Rothwell.

LightHeavyWeight-Jon Jones/Daniel Cormier/Glover Texeira. Reasoning-there has been a total of 1 finish loss out of all 3 of those fighters, and it was 9 years ago for Glover's debut mma fight. All of these 3 LHW are proven tough/durable. Who would be the toughest to finish?
(Honorable mention:OSP)

MiddleWeight-While I also have 3 names, I don't feel as confident in these 3 as I do with the 3 names at LHW. That being said, I personally have Thales Leites, Jacare, and Nick Diaz as most unlikely to be finished. Thales' style has seemed to be one that doesnt take much risk, but Thales is arguably more proven in this division in terms of "killers faced" and he's managed to only be finished one time his entire mma career, and that was 6 years ago. Nick Diaz's game is too technical to be caught both on the ground or feet imo. He's succeptable losing via being held down judges decision, but finishing Nick Diaz-GSP and Anderson are his last fights, and they didn't appear to be even close. Jacare's game has improved on the feet. Still succeptable to being ko'd, but he's faced some tough test late in his career and passed with flying colors. Honorable mention Tim Kennedy, Royce Gracie, Dan Henderson

Welterweight-The entire premise of this thread was initiated because of one fighter, Matt Brown. While his overall career has arguably the most finish losses, when you take into consideration who he has fought, he's never been knocked out or tko'd, and just fought a fight that took place mostly on the ground against one of if not the most proven ground fighters in Demian Maia, I think Matt Brown is the name on this list least likely to be finished. Not far behind are fellow welterweights Carlos Condit and Jorge Masvidal. Honorable mention CM Punk(can't be finished if you don't fight)

Lightweight-Michael Chiesa and Tony Ferguson. Not the strongest cases compared to the names in the above divisions, but compared to the rest in their division, I'd say these guys are the toughest to be finished. Honorable mentions:Gilbert Melendez/Rafael Dos Anjos

Welterweight I would say is #1 toughest
Lightheavyweight I would say is #2 toughest
Middleweight I would say is the #3 toughest
Heavyweight always being last b/c of the power everyone possesses.
Out of all the names I listed, who is the least likely to be finished?
In the LHW division, who would most likely be finished first out of those 3? Who would be the last to be finished?
Adonis RNA - No Nick Diaz?
Yeah, that's my fuck up.
I am going to put him in for Tim Kennedy in the Middleweight division, and put Tim as honorable mention.
Not going to debate you on this as you're right, Nick should def be in there.
Nick and Nate and Gil have got to be up there
Diego has to be on the list.
P4P hardest to finish has to be Frankie Edgar
Backdoorstabber - P4P hardest to finish has to be Frankie Edgar
I stopped at 155 and I was using UFC.com for the UFC roster by division. To be honest, if I saw Frankie at 155, I would've included him. He for sure is durabale AF and your statement you make.....I think he probably has the best argument.
Yea Frankie is a freak.
They have both got stoppage loses on their records, but I've got no idea how either O'Connell or Bosse weren't stopped on Saturday. Eating bombs like they were Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

That fight was incredible, two big dudes standing right infront of each other throwing bombs.
Rothwell is a good pick for hw muahahahaha, but he was dispatched by arlovski rather clean if I remember right (no shame in that). I'm going with JDS on that one. He had taken some ridiculous beatings
After last night O'Connell and bosse deserve to be in the discussion @ lhw lol. If you're going by having one's chin checked, not just lack of being finished or being put in a bad spot.
Prime leben fight zombied a number of times. Cote could take a shot @ mw too.
Gamebred is legit @ ww and lw.
I give lw to Frankie

Didn't rumble get finished by no love @ catch weight? That would kinda bump him from top 3 for me.
IGNORE THIS POST, I read Glover as rumble for some reason . My mistake.
Jones would have to be the hardest to finish so far. Frankie is up there too. I'd say MM as well.
Easy mistake, they look similar and have similar sounding names....
Meisha. No quit DNA in that one.
Scott Rotem - Chiesa was finished by Masvidal.
That he was. I'll have to rewatch that fight but I just don't see that happening again. Do you disagree with my lw rankings and any others? If so, would you substitute or just leave him off?

I disagree with JDS > Rothwell. Besides the above gif being a strong talking point, perhaps an even bigger talking point is the fact JDS literally just had 5 rounds to finish Rothwell and couldn't, in a fight he was winning early on and seemed to have found his strategy and distance the entire fight.
Backdoorstabber - P4P hardest to finish has to be Frankie Edgar
Frankie may actually be a mutant.
D241 - CDarwin -

I mean she got finished by kat but when the fight is stopped she is going for the takedown.
I dont think that counts as quitting.

Man you got that right.
She's as tough as they come, man or woman.
I'll always root for her because of that heart.
