Interesting stuff from Mr. Hardy here on a whole host of subjects...
Great interview, Hardy is one of the best talkers in the sport.
Very excited about him becoming the first ever British UFC champ.
explodingboy and Heartbroken Lee just dropped the correct all over this thread.

Thank you sir.
He knows how to promote a fight. Looking forward to seeing what he does with the GSP fight in terms of promotion.
He clearly respects GSP's skills so he won't bash his there. He started to bash GSP for being an athlete as opposed to a fighter, but I don't see that route hyping the fight up that much.
Hardy is a master of the mental side of the game. Should be interesting to see how this evolves. I am confident many of the naysayers right now will want to see this fight when it happens because Hardy will find a way for the diehard GSP fans to want to see GSP kill him, and the Hardy supporters will be excited to see Hardy KO GSP.
Obviously GSP is the favorite and rightfully so, but unlike many of GSP's fights, GSP doesn't dominate every range of this fight
This is the biggest mismatch since Silva vs. Leites. Hopefully GSP just wastes him quickly instead of pulling a Silva and trying to carry the other fighter
Very like-able fighter, seems quite intelligent too, I hope he does well against GSP.

I really like Hardy, but I dont see what range of this fight GSP doesnt dominate? Im sure you will say that Hardy has the striking advantage, but he doesnt have nearly the arsenal GSP has standing. His Muay Thai and footwork will be more than Hardy can handle.
How often do you see St. Pierre just circle and jab while exchanging? It never happens, he constantly varies distances and levels and can fluidly attack with hands, elbows, shins and knees. Not to mention the takedown threat. Hardy may have more natural punching power, but I dont see him having much more than a punchers chance.
Good interview. Hardy seems like a good kid with a great future ahead of him.

George fought Hughes in his 3rd appearance in the UFC and put on a good performance which made him the Champion he is today.
The more I see and hear of Dan Hardy, the bigger fan I become. Seems like he has his head screwed on right. Title shot seems a little early, but I'm sure he'll learn volumes win or lose.
GSP will wreck him.
Great interview, Hardy speaks very well.

Re: The embedding - Yeah, the man deserves his hits and people should follow the link but the vast majority of people who see the thread wouldn't do so; instead waiting until someone posted it to watch it.
Either way, people are watching it.
Anyone with any insight into Hardy's ground game. I doubt he can stop a GSP takedown(noone can really), but can he defend himself once he is on his back?
^^ thanks
i'm sure he's cool, but gsp is going to waste him.

This has to be a troll. GSP is good but he got bashed by Serra and outboxed by BJ, two good fighters but who are natural LWs known for their grappling. Hardy has been better at striking than everyone he has faced in the UFC
Are you serious? GSP just dominated the best striker at 170, and brutally avendged his losses to both BJ and Serra. Hardy brings very little to the table for this fight
