Sorry man but that's an ignorant post like there are many nowadays about Bas. Bas learned how to grapple AFTER being submitted by Ken. A material proportion of his victories afterwards - and there were many - were actually by submission. Not for nothing his submission dvds were so popular in his time.
The ADCC doctors would not clear him because grappling so hard over the years has contributed to his liver failure.
This is why he is constantly harping on the liver when commenting on stand-up fighting.
He wants revenge against his failing liver. He then projects this wish by saying fighters should strike that area of the body.
