Finally caught the fights from the other night, and the one thing that stuck with me is the eye gouge jingliang did to Matthews. I cannot recall off the top of my head a worse foul ever in the UFC. It was completely deliberate and extremely dangerous, could be career ending and leave a fighter blind for life. There have been some deliberate low blows or head butts maybe, but I just can't think of anything worse than this one
only thing worse would be Gordeau blinding Nakai.
Well there was a reach in the trunks nut squeeze at one of those old Brazilian events too, and ilioukhine has had some really blatant fouls outside of UFC as well

Matthews has to be one of the most mentally tough guys out there. There was another time that jingliang did some shady shit to get out of a submission and he never complained, didn’t try to sell an injury.. dude just kept working, didn’t break like most would. I became a fan.

Yep. I'm completely with Knight on that. Both of Knight's hands were in use. He didn't put The finger in his mouth. If you don't want your fingers bit, don't put them in my mouth.
