Has there ever been more pressure on 2 fighters to perform than there will be on Cain and JDS this Saturday night? Not only is this Cain's first title defense and Junior's first title fight, but it could potentially turn out to be the most important night in UFC history. AND add on top of that the fact that they will be the ONLY televised fight on the broadcast, and you've got two guys carrying a lot of extra weight on their shoulders. Best of luck to both guys, I hope they both bring it!
I think if anything, there is less pressure on them. They both know that if they go out there and swing for the fences, regardless if they win or lose Dana will keep them around for years, even if they drop 5 or 6 in a row. One of those "Cain and JDS have a job for life with the UFC" type of deals.
No other fights will be shown, this is guaranteed to be the only fight we will see on Fox whether is it 5 rounds or 5 seconds.
And in response to mdh2k10 that may have been a bigger event but there were multiple fights shown on that card yes? Meaning if one fight was subpar, there were others to pick it up no?
