I'm pretty new to this site, so maybe it happens all the time, but i have a question for all you regulars.
Almost every thread on this forum goes the same way. I saw it this way, or i think this, or some version of my opinion. If you don't agree, you're a moron. This is followed by other posters offering their opinions or supporting the OP. Eventually the debate gets heated, names are called, and the thread disappears with no resolution.
Does anyone ever actually change their opinion or admit they were wrong or at least that they failed to look at it that way. The current topic is Diego/Kampman. Some are clearly of the thought that Kampman won (myself included) and others that Diego won. Does anyone ever stop long enough to go back and re-evaluate and come to another conclusion? Or is the end result always the same and posting in most of these threads is a pointless activity used to pass the time?
What Bill said.....oh, and it's spelled "moran."
What do you mean, like side with the other guys? But they're soooooo dumb. Real debaters don't give ground under any circumstances.
Welcome to the UG!
Op deserves a hi-5 IMO.
