I was just playing devils advocate with idea -

IMO it wouldn't prove much as heads up seems to be too reliant on what kind of hands you get rather than a show of skill.

we should do an annual PG game at the commerce. they have a pretty nice hotel there too - the crown royal(look it up on the internet).

if we get enough people we could get a couple of rooms and split the cost. the casino will host a private game for whatever stakes we want. we could have a weekend long marathon game....wrecker is just down in san diego i think. maybe he could come up and take all our money? there must be at least 9 so-cal'ers who could play.....and maybe a few out of towners(PR) who would be willing to make the trip. there are some juicy limit games there where PR could probably clean up.

i may have the "cajones" to call 86 bucks with 5/5 but not to play a 10+1 SnG. those are just crazy stakes. count me out.

I live in Los Angeles so I'm game for Commerce.

That's a short hop down the coast for me (I'm in Vancouver) and I've heard ALL about the Commerce games drools.

thats great PR. i think you'll like it there. anytime would be good for me. so far we have 4 in. maybe one of us(hint to jman) should take on the role of organizer and start a new thread for this and get emails and such.

it will be good for the 1st annual CBPG event to have an international flair. i wonder if obiwan will attend?

Pretty much anytime would be good for me too as long as I get a few days notice. I just live 25 minutes away.
