I start this new sales job next week which might require travel outside the U.S., being a service connected vet I've always relied on the VA health system or medicare as my primary health insurance. Work has offered me health insurance with "excluding the United States" option.
This insurance would likely become a secondary to medicare since the business is less than 20 people, thing is travel would be like once a year if any at all. I been looking at some basic plans, but been wondering if I should even get this secondary at all being single and not married at 32 (i dont want to pay extra shit I might not need). Would what I have now is enough for my needs? Will I one day find myself getting raped by an alpacha in peru making me wish I got that secondary?
Never expected my first thread to be on health insurance, oh well VU's for some simple advice.
