Smart aren't they ;)

They have gel padding, they feel great around the knuckles but I couldn't quite get my thumb to feel comfortable in them.

Cheers mate, and yeah, I've been coaching for a while now, I was lucky to start right out of school.

Anyone have a go on the bags with this one last night?

Great combo, got my mum to hold some pillows and tried it last night, accidentally missed 3 out of the 4 punches but clipper her chin with 2 of them, very effective. She really wasn't expecting me to follow that second straight with a hook. VU!
That'll teach that cunt to not have dinner ready by the time you're home mate. Phone Post 3.0

great info in the vid...just wish the feet were visible.

Good things mate. I'd just remember to throw that hook from your hip or your shoulder. And not to overload the right hand when bringing it back. It throws you off balance and telegraphs.

But being that this is a MMA forum and you are in your karate gear your technique looked head and shoulders above most people who would post here. Phone Post 3.0

Cheers grinder, I thought that too about having the feet always visible, it's valid too, as footwork is just as important as everything else. The problem I faced is that when I was trying to keep in more and more parts, the video was far too long. Even with the footage I had left I'm kinda not pleased with it, but I think it teaches "enough" so that someone who already trains can use it as a reference, and possibly tweak something they already do.

I have plans to film my own footwork videos but in the wait, here's a great footowork instructional from my coach, David Breed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD5rYg5iz2U

PrettyBoy, thanks! And I agree with your comment, the best shots are the ones that land without being seen.

Nice. The UG needs more stuff like this
