So apparently the FUCKING FDA did NOT approve a new medication for DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy).
The drug has been deemed safe, no toxicity and families affected by the disease in trial have been seeing it help them but the FUCKING FDA says no because the company didn't do a Placebo component in the trial.
The FUCKING FDA tells companies that they can do trials without placebos in diseases that are terminal but then the FUCKING FDA FUCKS THEM IN THE ASS and these families hoping they can do anything to help their children are left with NOTHING!!!
It's FUCKING POINTLESS to have placebos when the known outcome for any patient, based on historical clinical data is DEATH. If the drug helps them survive passed the normal expiration date then it is deemed a success by any family that has to deal with a disease like that.

They did a great piece on ALS covering the Right to Try. Some of the people featured were with us on Capitol Hill for the rally.
We severely need Democrats in the Senate to support the bills. Republicans are supporting it so far but Dems are needed to get this thing done.
Speaking to some of the Senators aids we were told "We need more time to look them over before getting behind them."
We said "Ok but the Bills are only a few pages long. And people are dying everyday."
This government could care less really.
It's so sad to see how unflinchingly callous our supposed representatives treat the sick and helpless.
It's a shame I can't get one professional fighter to help us out in some way.
