Help me, I got a superfight

I'm fighting a guy named Nick Miskovic on june 5th in the Ontario Inv Open. The only info I can find on him is he finsihed 3rd in the pro 149- div at champions challenge tourny. Anyone have info on that division (how many competetors?, how he did?, How he fights). Anyone know anything about the guy himself?

Thank you, Dave

DAve, Nik is freakishly strong with a great guard and top game. He is a medalist at both the Judo and free style wrestling world junior competitions. I heard that at Champions Challenge he competed with a 103 degree fever and decided not to contest his semi-final bout. At Grapplers Quest West he submitted three purple belts before losing to Brown Belt in the semi's and a black belt in the bronze medal match, both loses were by multiple advantages. I saw him training in Vegas, and he gave everyone fits, nobody passed his guard (Leo Santos came close), and his side control was so tight many of us wanted to tap. His foot locks are really good, and if you stand with him, he might throw you into an arm bar or use a kimura like Karo Parisian vs Dave Strasser.

Cheers!!!

WTF...Thats the funniest shit I've ever heard!!!!!!

Nick is Sick!!!!!!

He normally trains with Wagnney right? Wasn't he the first guy to tap both borthers?(even in training still quite a feat considering his age)

Have you trained with him?,,Also hows his passing the guard game?

Dave

He is not Nova Uniao, and has never tapped Wagnney or Leo. The only guard he didn't pass while training in Vegas was Leo's. In no-gi he likes to pass the guard like his hero Leo Vieira, he stands up and then dances/capoeiras all over you. I think he is a slightly better passer on the ground, inspite of his preference for Leo Vieira like passes. He tends to pass the moment a person tries to sweep or sub him. It's like the kid has watched every instructional on passing out there. I swear in the gi he looks like he is going through the Feitosa instructionals. In no-gi, his guard looks like he has practiced Marcello Garcia's intructionals religiously.

My advice to you is play your game, and don't worry about his, because in the words of John Lewis "there is no way to prepare for a guy like that".

Cheers!!!

Sounds incredible, as in he's either freaky-good, or Kashk is having a little fun.

Nick likes Nova Uniao alot!!

But doesn't like fake fights....so train hard AGUZZI!!

Rene r. in the words of John Lewis "there is no way to prepare for a guy like that".

Kashk, tell me your fucking pulling my leg, he's too good to be true...

aguzzi, I could pull your leg, but not as well as nik could, watch out for the single leg as he is sitting up from the guard.

hmmmm, my advice is to not worry about it, why sike yourself out man? just go in and do your thang...

hes basically invinsible, so just forget about the whole thing...

Met him at the Eddie Bravo seminar. Nice guy, laid back surfer style. I remember Eddie complementing him on his game after they had rolled.

lol at Kashk making Nik sound invincible!

aguzzi, he's probably just pulling your leg. He basically described as being a Karo, Garcia, Feitosa, Leo Viera hybrid. Play your game, don't think about who he is. Just find out his preferences through comp. footage and find ways to defeat or avoid it.

On the Candian forum I let aguzzi know that I was just having a little fun, by posting a thread entitled "Who is Nick Miskovic?".

lol! knowing that a guy like that existed scared me too.
