Help me lower my cholesterol...

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm 20 y.o. 5'6", 120-125 lbs. Cholesterol level is over 250.

Will I benefit more from cardio than from lifting weights?

What should I eat/not eat? Is oatmeal all that they make it to be in terms of lowering cholesterol?

Your doctor should be giving you some guidelines. Mine
was high and these are the things that I did to get it
down from 246 to 176. Take 500mg Niacin twice a day,
do not use the timed release kind, it can damage your
liver. This is not a prescription drug you can get it
from Lindberg Nutrition or from your health food
store. Change your diet. Eat lots of fruit and
vegetables. Get most of your protein from beans and
bread or rice. Stay away from red meat, eat fish and
fowl sparingly. Get your fats from eating nuts or
cooking with virgin olive oil. Good luck.
