Daniel Cormier was scheduled to fight Ryan Bader in the main event of UFC Fight Night 68 on June 6, 2015 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. However, Cormier was pulled from the fight to face Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 on May 23, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new UFN 68 main event will be Dan Henderson vs. Tim Boetsch. Henderson, a genuine legend in the sport, is 1-2 his last three, coming off losses to Cormier at light heavyweight and to Gegard Mousasi at middleweight, and knocking out Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua before that. Boetsch is also 1-2 his last three, with a submission loss to Thales Leites, a win over Brad Tavares, and a loss to Luke Rockhold.
No fight for Cormier's original opponent Bader has been named yet.
