Condit is smart to wait for the GSP fight.

You get the divisions biggest juggernaut coming in with ring rust and post injury...

No need to fight someone like hendricks and risk losing.

I dont know if I would call it smart. It is a strategy none the less.

The problem is he is the interim champ that no one wanted and I dont think anyone expected it to go undefended until GSP is back. I dont think Diaz would have waited. Fighters need to fight and learn from guys like Rashad who passed up opportunities and screwed himself.

Hendricks got caught waiting at the red light while Kampmann zipped right on by. The time to do this was in his postfight interview on FOX. He's a month too late.

Someone rolling over rashads knee in practice screwed him over.

IF that doesnt happen, rashad would have beaten shogun to become a two time champ.
