this is a fight i really want to see and never got a chance to see it. does anyone have a video of this fight? Thanks
Just go rent UFC 42.
sorry I can't help with a video.
I remember the UFC showed this fight before the actual PPV started as a free -pre ppv special.
they couldn't have picked a better fight to draw in the viewers. One of the better fights as far as excitement, and heart. Both these guys put on a hell of a show and made me more of a fan than I already was.
ttt for the vid
i was just watching this recently, on vhs. That ref was soo fuct-up not to stop, when cleats arm was twisted alll the way around! it was sick! Good job, HERMES!

I was there live. The fight was great. One of the best fights ever. Both guys showed how tough they were. The throw Crunkilton hit in the beginning got the crowd going wild. I disagreed with the judging. I had rounds one and three for Crunkilton. Round two Hermes.
That was a great fight.

I thought the first round was the best I ever saw.
Crunkilton is one tough tough dude.
Get his arm broken in an armbar, won't tap....then Hermes puts him in a kimura and cranks his already broken arm 360, and Crunkilton still won't tap. Jesus.
"I disagreed with the judging. I had rounds one and three for Crunkilton."
Considering Hermes snapped Crunkilton's arm like a twig in round three, I think Franca takes the round.
I was really impressed with Crunkilton in that one but in no way was the decision in any doubt.
Does anybody know where i could watch the footage of that shit on the net ???
crazy fight.
Hey, I don't mean to hijack, but I was thinking about this fight the other day, but for a different reason:
wasn't this the only fight ever to be shown in the 1/2 hour BEFORE the actual PPV started, instead of running the same 5 minute ad over and over?
I always thought that was a great idea to sneak in one more fight and to take advantage of "dead" PPV time, and I could never figure out why the UFC never did that again.

isn't round 3 the round where Hermes snapped his arm off?
