Hey Ole, tell us how you feel.

 Bitter much?

- Mike Mooneyham of The Post & Courier spoke with original Four Horsemen member Ole Anderson this week about the group being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Here's what Ole had to say:

"Vince McMahon hates my guts, and I don’t like him. So that’s all there is to it. To be a part of that, anyone with a brain knows who the first Four Horsemen were. It was me and Arn and Ric and Tully Blanchard, and J.J. Dillon was the manager. So if they don’t know that, they don’t know anything about wrestling anyway. So what’s the difference?"

"Vince McMahon is never going to call me. I hate his guts just like he hates mine. It’s no big deal."

"I can’t go anywhere anyway. I’m so screwed up from the multiple sclerosis. I’m in a wheelchair right now, and that thing kills me after a little while and then I have to lay down. That’s my routine. How would I get there? By car? I couldn’t do that. By airplane? I just couldn’t get there."

"I told Vince McMahon to go (expletive deleted), and I wouldn’t change my mind now."

Sucks to hear that his condition has left him like this.

Ole was never one to pull punches, and had his fair share of enemies because of it. I feel bad for him in the sense that he's correct that he was an original member, and many people do kind of gloss over him in favor of Tully.

At the same time, Ole's story in the business could have been different (but probably not) had he been more personable and not such a dinosaur. He was already old and curmudgeonly by the time the Horseman thing started, and had no real hope really evolve past his 1960's/1970's smashmouth style of wrestling, so it was little surprise that he was the odd man out when they started bringing in young, handsome, talented guys like Tully and Lex to take his place.

BulletformyWife - Uh, Tully never replaced Ole in the horsemen. What are you on?

Right. He did replace him as Arns tag partner though. Tully was originally a singles wrestler. Ole deserves the recognition as original horsemen though. Phone Post

And didn't Arn replace oles real brother as part if the Minnesota Wrecking Crew or am I thinking of another replacement? Phone Post

Gene and Lars started it.  Ole replaced Lars and then Arn took Gene's spot.

I don't think any of them were related. The only ones who might've been were Lars and Gene. Ole and Arn definitely weren't related to the others, or each other. At the risk of stating the obvious, CW was a fake Anderson too.

I knew Arn wasn't but for some reason thought Ole and Gene (thanks fryabusa) were. And lol. Dammit that CW was lying to us too!??? That rapscallion him. Phone Post

Gene was the only one actually with the last name Anderson, neither Lars or Ole's last name was Anderson Phone Post

I got mixed up on my history on my previous post. I meant Luger.
