Got checked by TKZ once and stopped kicking that whole fight until Zombie hurt his shoulder. Aldo is otherworldly good but if anyone thinks that Conor is just gonna let Aldo kick his legs out, then you just don't understand fighting. All of these guys that Aldo has mauled, NEVER check kicks, hell, barely any fighters in the sport today check kicks. And for good reason.
However, it hurts worse for the guy kicking than for the guy checking. It only takes one kick placed in the right spot on Conors knee or high shin and more times than not Aldo or anyone for that matter will stop kicking almost immediately. He is kicking a pad and people are getting all wet. It's gonna be a great fight and Jose's fighting spirit will be tested.
Love how people get caught up in sparring videos and training videos. If that was the thing that mattered, I would be UFC Champ and not a 1-2 pro fighter. Lol.

I doubt Aldo goes leg hunting unless he sees wide openings, like Cormier had against Gustafsson (when Gus kept completely turning around), or at the end of long rushing combos. Jose will probably attack the body and I'm thinking his money shot could be the liver punch slipping outside of Conor jab. Not that Aldo's weight cuts are cake, but McGregor's are only getting tougher. Should be a great fight.

Even TKZ has good grappling.Very true but even Conor surprised Max Holloway with very good ground work and Max did just submit Cubbie Swanson, a LEGIT BJJ black belt. Aldo is world class on the ground, night and day between him and Holloway in terms of BJJ for MMA but it is representation that Conor is pretty good on the ground despite critics and forum detractors may think.
I do believe Jose will try to submit him, he is a smart fighter, knows the game and will try to exploit any weakness Conor actually night have.
